As part of Tees Valley Combined Authority’s Primary School Careers Education Pilot, all primary schools in the Tees Valley have free access to a bank of providers to help deliver careers activities focusing on STEM/STEAM and Enterprise Education via a mixture of face-to-face, virtual, and blended delivery methods.

This includes a variety of challenges, competitions, classroom activities, and resources for Key Stages 1 and 2.

Activities are delivered free of charge by our bank of providers, which you can explore via the squares below.

Activities will aim to:

  • Provide pupils opportunities to learn things they would not otherwise learn about or experience
  • Embed careers education within the curriculum
  • Improve pupils’ knowledge of different educational and employment pathways
  • Include light touch involvement of pupils’ parents and guardians in the school’s careers education
  • Improve teachers’ knowledge and skills regarding careers education
  • Develop pupils’ career-relevant skills
  • Involve external stakeholders in careers education

Activities are available free of charge to all primary schools across the Tees Valley (Hartlepool, Darlington, Middlesbrough, Stockton, and Redcar & Cleveland) targeting Key Stages 1 and 2.
