A future career seems a long way off for most primary age children but it’s never to early to start making a connection between what they learn in primary school and the jobs they might one day pursue in the future. For primary schools tapping into the business community is key to help broaden horizons, raise aspirations and promote ambition on a local, national, and global level for children to challenge ‘stereotypical’ careers.
From September 2021, all primary schools and their teachers in Tees Valley will have access to our ‘Shout Out Portal’. This allows primary schools to raise requests seeking employer support for activities and events that will introduce children to the very wide range of careers, professions and employers in Tees Valley and beyond. This will also allow employers to offer their support to engage with their local primary schools.
Employers and primary schools can log in to your account or request an account by clicking the button ‘Shout Out Portal’ in the top right corner. Please note individual students cannot register.
