Global Entrepreneurship Week

Global Entrepreneurship, and including creative week is a collection of tens of thousands of events, activities and competitions each November that inspire millions to explore their potential as an entrepreneur while fostering connections and increasing collaboration within their ecosystems.

TVCA have set up series of workshops for schools to sign up to and be delivered by key providers covering all aspects of setting up and running your own business across different sectors including the creative sector. (All bookings are via the TVCA shoutout portal) Only schools registered on the portal can access the workshops.

The workshops on offer have included:

• 1 hour workshop on what is an entrepreneur and what is involved in becoming self-employed.
• 3-hour workshop on developing business ideas and running your own business
• 1 hour workshop on insight into the vibrant arts & culture sector and the brilliant opportunities out there
• 1 hour workshop on the roles involved in running a successful museum.
• 1 hour workshop on an introduction to what working freelance means across the creative sector.
