National Apprenticeship Week kicks off Monday 7th February with a jam-packed week in celebration of all things apprenticeships!

The theme for 2022 is ‘build the future’; shining a light on how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career, and businesses to develop a talented workforce that is equipped with future-ready skills.

Apprenticeships aren’t just for young people! Whether you’ve just left school, or are looking to upskill in your current role and progress your career, if you’re aged 16+ an apprenticeship could be the right pathway for you.

There are some great benefits in it for them too! Supporting an apprenticeship can lead to increased productivity, positive long-term development and improved staff retention. Plus, it can help address any skills shortages within the team, futureproofing the business.

There is support available for your employer through Tees Valley Business, including potential grant funding. Click here to find out more.
